Jachary is a New York-based artist whose music moves through funk, future soul, alternative R&B, indie pop, and off-centre bedroom psychedelia with a loose, self-made charm. His early releases, including Love Me, My Hater EP, Maze of Another, Skeptical, and There’s a Virus Goin On, introduced a sound that felt playful but slightly unsteady, full of rubbery grooves, strange melodic turns, oddball humour, and a restless sense of personality. Projects like Freaks Will Multiply and The Virus Continues... B-Sides and Remixes expanded that world further, before Loops of Life in 2019 sharpened his blend of funk, soul, indie, and leftfield pop into something warmer, stranger, and more emotionally open.

Since then, Jachary has continued to build a catalogue that feels handmade rather than over-polished. Hospital arrived in 2020, followed by the Butterflies and Elevator Music EPs in 2024, each release adding another piece to a sound that can move from intimate and bruised to absurd, groovy, and quietly surreal. His 2026 album Thank You For Holding It Down feels like one of his fullest statements yet, pulling together gratitude, insecurity, love, exhaustion, humour, and self-reflection across a set of songs that still refuse to sit neatly in one lane.
