Across five studio albums, she has continually evolved her sound, each release marking a distinct artistic transformation. Her 2017 debut, I, produced by Robin Hannibal of Rhye, introduced a blend of trip-hop and sophisti-pop, featuring lush arrangements and introspective lyricism. II: La Bella Vita (2020) shifted toward neo-soul and disco, with Niia co-producing and drawing inspiration from Italian cinema for a vibrant, rhythmically driven sound. The 2021 EP If I Should Die delved deeper into R&B, showcasing Niia’s executive production and visual direction, emphasizing her multifaceted creative vision.
