Esme Emerson are a British/Chinese sibling duo writing songs out of their family home in Suffolk. Drawing comparisons to Big Thief and Slow Pulp their music is characterised by gentle melodies and a careful balance of both electronic and organic elements.

The siblings started writing music together during Emerson’s final year at University and quickly realised how well their creative ideas aligned. With sincerity being core to the project, the pair are intent on exploring ideas that feel truly honest and exciting to them.

Earmarked as ones to watch by The Face magazine and starring in Dr Martens recent Lunar New Year campaign, Esme Emerson recently released their debut single 'Please' through Communion Records, reviewed by The Line Of Best Fit as "A triumph in its tactility, "Please" exemplifies the shared creative genius of Esme and Emerson, and keeps us hanging on for more folk lines and everyday tales".
